Create a cocktail that can maintain over time the same success as classic cocktails such as Mojito, Daiquiri or Cuba Libre; This is the challenge of the bartenders who are competing, in a selection in several stages, to obtain a place in the final of the BACARDÍ® Legacy Global Cocktail Competition 2018 in Mexico. A competition in which the future of mixology meets the tradition and quality of a range of rum that sinks its origins in the Caribbean lands of mid-800. After passing the semi-finals of Granada in November 27th and 28th , the three bartenders from each country will be judged this time by a jury composed by Keila Urzaiz - bartender at the Artesian Bar of the Langham Hotel in London -, Juan Valls - owner of Niño Perdido Valladiolid in Spain and Fibar - and bartender Gianni Zottola for the Cocktail section, and experts in the cocktail promotion strategy, such as Tine Van Nevel - European Director of BACARDÍ Rum -, Manuela Kremlin, marketing director of FIG cluster BACARDÍ Rum and Dickie Cullimore - BACARDÍ Rum Global Brand Ambassador -.
